The Pet Crew's founding caregivers are
Jennifer and Jill, who prior to starting The
Pet Crew in 2000 had more than 16 combined years of pet
care experience. It was their shared passion for animals and
history
of positive pet care experiences that led Jennifer and Jill to create The
Pet Crew. Today, Jennifer has taken the reigns of The Pet Crew and has expanded its
caregiving crew. Meet the
crew...

Meet the caregiving

Andrea has been on the caregiving crew since 2006 and is also a certified
veterinary assistant. She loves being that special friend for the animals
and being able to care for them everyday. She gets a kick out of it when
all of the pets in the house run to the door to greet her when she arrives.
Always an animal lover Andrea dreamed of having a house full of pets and
is on her way with two cats named Tigger and Tom, one dog named Collin, a ten-year-old
Chinese fire belly toad named Emerald, a nine-year-old fire belly newt named
Shadow and a few fish. Some day she wants more furry critters, but for now
she has lots of friends at The Pet Crew as well as her "kids" at home.
Ann has been on the
caregiving crew since January 2002 and is the proud mother to her son,
Elijah, and Mayhem, the dog.
Beth has been a veterinary technician/vet tech
instructor since 2001. She has two cats, Gilbert and Sullivan,
which gives you a clue that she also likes musicals! Beth loves to knit (and her cats
like the yarn)! She enjoys getting to meet and see the wonderful
personalities of all of the pets that she visits.
Jennifer's husband, Jason, is a crew member as well. He loves all animals and
also spends time involved with many animal-oriented activities. Jennifer
and Jason share thier lives with their "kids with tails," Gladys (an
English Bull Terrier), Victor (a Black Lab mix) and Patrick (an Arabian
horse).
Jennifer cares for pets full-time with The Pet Crew. In addition, she holds a Masters Degree in Psychology and has
a private practice as a therapist. Jennifer is also an assistant instructor at a
dog training club.
Jill's
best friends are Willie and Doc (two mixed-breed dogs). Jill has
unique experience in which she fostered and trained
a dog as part of a grant-funded program to pair rescued dogs with
emotionally-disturbed
children. With a Bachelors Degree in Sociology, Jill has worked
in
the human services field since 1988.
Marlee shares her
life with three cats and two dogs. In addition to her love for
animals and work with The Pet Crew,
Marlee devotes her time to teaching, writing and performing music.
